ReachRadiance — Light for every book

Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("you", "the author") and [Registered business name], trading as ReachRadiance ("ReachRadiance", "we", "us", "our"). They apply when you use our website, [website address], request a visibility assessment or buy any of our packages.

By using our website or services, or by confirming a package with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or services. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or publisher, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

2. Our services

ReachRadiance helps authors make their books visible to readers. We research what is limiting a book's visibility and then close those gaps across four discovery platforms: Amazon, digital libraries, AI and Google search, and reading communities.

Our services include:

  • Visibility assessment: a review of your book's current visibility gap and the problems holding it back, with a recommended package
  • Packages: Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond and Platinum, each described on our Services page with its deliverables, price and timeline
  • Reports: a research report, a Reader Language Summary and a Master Changes Report, depending on your package

We change how your book is listed, described and connected. We never change the text of your book. None of our packages include paid advertising.

3. The visibility assessment

The assessment is an initial review based on publicly available information and the details you provide. It is not the full research carried out in Phase 1 of a package. Requesting an assessment does not commit you to buying a package.

4. Packages, phases and timelines

Every package is delivered in two phases:

PhaseWhat we doWhat you receive
Phase 1: Research and DocumentationWe research your book across the four discovery platforms and document every findingA full research report
Phase 2: ImplementationWe use the findings to fix your book's visibility issues across the platforms in your packageThe completed work and a Master Changes Report

Before work begins, we confirm your package, price and timeline with you in writing (by email is enough). That confirmation, together with these Terms, forms our agreement.

Timelines are given in business days and start when you have confirmed your package and we have received everything we need from you (see section 5). Timelines are estimates. Delays in receiving information, approvals or account access from you will extend them. We will tell you promptly if anything on our side delays the work.

Platinum includes three months of visibility monitoring, which starts when Phase 2 is complete.

5. Your responsibilities

To let us do our best work, you agree to:

  • Give us accurate, complete information about your book and your goals
  • Confirm that you own the rights to your book, or have permission to promote it, and that its content doesn't break any law
  • Give us the account access or guidance we need for Phase 2, in good time
  • Review our findings and reply to questions or approval requests within [5] business days
  • Keep your own account passwords and settings secure
  • Follow the rules of the platforms where your book is listed
  • Not ask us to do anything misleading, such as buying reviews, posting fake reviews or using false information

6. Account access

Where a platform allows it, we ask to be added as a team member or collaborator rather than receive your password. If you share login details, we will use them only for the work agreed in your package, keep them secure and delete them when the project ends. We never change your royalty or bank settings. You stay in control of your accounts at all times and can remove our access whenever you choose. We recommend you change your passwords when our work is complete.

7. Results

We remove the visibility barriers between your book and its readers so it has the best possible chance to be found. We do not guarantee any particular number of sales, reviews, rankings, downloads, library orders, bestseller status or income. Results depend on many things outside our control, including your book's content, cover, price, genre, competition, reader tastes and the platforms' own systems.

8. Third-party platforms

Our work involves platforms we don't own or control, such as Amazon, Goodreads, OverDrive, Google, AI tools, review sites and reading communities. Each has its own rules, and they can change their systems, policies or decisions at any time. We are not responsible for their actions, for example rejecting a listing, changing an algorithm, removing content or suspending an account. Where a platform's decision affects your package, we will tell you and suggest the best alternative.

9. Ownership

  • Your book is yours. You keep all rights to your book, its text, cover and any materials you give us. You give us permission to use them only as needed to deliver your package.
  • Your deliverables are yours. You may use your reports, listing copy and other deliverables however you like, for this book and future ones.
  • Our methods are ours. Our research methods, templates, tools, brand, website and content belong to ReachRadiance. You may not copy, resell or republish them.

10. Confidentiality

We keep your book, unpublished material, reports and account information confidential. We will not share them with anyone except the platforms and service providers we need to deliver your package, or when the law requires it. We may use anonymised, general findings to improve our methods, but never in a way that identifies you or your book.

11. Testimonials

We may ask for a testimonial after your project. We will only publish your name, words, book title or cover with your written permission, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim connected with our services is limited to the price of the package concerned.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for the actions of third-party platforms.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs we face because of content or information you gave us, for example if you didn't have the rights to promote a book, or if its content breaks the law.

14. Ending our agreement

Either of us can end a project by email. We may end a project if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or ask us to break a platform's rules or the law. The sections on ownership, confidentiality and liability continue after a project ends.

15. Using our website

You may use our website for your own information. You must not misuse it, for example by trying to break its security, copying its content for commercial use, or sending spam through its forms. The information on our website, including the statistics on our Discovery Platforms page, is provided for general information and may change over time.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. It forms part of these Terms.

17. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
  • You may not transfer your agreement with us to someone else without our written consent.
  • These Terms, your written package confirmation and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about our services.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Changes don't affect a package you have already confirmed, unless you agree to them.
